A very good book. Definitely the best on this subject I have come across. Seems cheap considering the quality of production

If you are serious about ski-ing then this is for you., 23 Apr 2002
This is a very useful guide to preparation and waxing of nordic skis. I have not found anything else so good. It is very clear, but very technical. This is a book for race waxing - it is too complicated if you are only interested in recreational ski-ing.

An excellent book for the beginning cross country skier, 15 Oct 1998
This is an excellent book for the beginning cross country skier. The author gives a good overview of classic track skiing, skating, and backcountry skiing. I would not recommend it for somebody who has XC skied for more than one or two years. For those who would like to begin and have no idea where to start, this is the book for you.
