A nice and quick read for those of a racier nature. There are several short stories to wet your appetite or anything else! Thoroughly enjoy this book.

This book was my first venture into eroctic fiction, and for the price of this book I figured if I didnt like it - nothing was lost. However, I couldnt have been less disappointed! All the stories are based around a different fantasy - so everyone can have a favourite. I have to say mine is Doctors Orders. There were a couple that didnt "get me going" as it were, but thats not to say they wouldnt work for others.

The size of this book is great too - so slim, its very discreet and can easily be slipped into an overnight bag or suitcase - should the mood take you.

I was so impressed with this little gem of a book I have since bought volumes 2 & 3 and look forward to purchasing more. I would and have recommended it to friends.

This is the first time I've read one of the Black Lace Quickies series, but if this one is anything to go by, it won't be the last. The first in the series, this book contains six short stories all by different authors. There's the story of the young woman doing unspeakably naughty things at petrol stations; the seventeen year old boy that gets to live the ultimate teenage fantasy; a doctor/patient scenario; a horny air hostess; a brother/sister combo causing havoc on a passenger liner, and twins that swap places to have the adventure of their lives.

Out of the six stories, I was extremely impressed with five of them. I'm not going to point out which one I wasn't keen on as people's opinions vary, and I wouldn't say I disliked it, exactly, it just didn't get me fired up like the other ones did! There were incredibly kinky elements in here, for example; spanking, sex toys, incest, uniforms and domination... basically several of the main things that people fantasise about! So I think, all in all, this is a top notch book and there's something in here for everyone, providing you do like your stories that bit more kinky, which I do. Too vanilla and I get bored.

When you factor in a cracking price, which as always, is discounted on Amazon, and you've got yourself a winner here! So get this, and have yourself a night in with some sexy stories!

This volume of "quickies" was some of the best erotic reading I have done in a while. It was to the point, to put it mildly! Can't wait for vol. 3!! Another "quickie" erotic read I devoured and would recommend: Sex Scenes: Erotica Excerpts from the Novels of Kim Corum.

There is a lot of good erotica in the short story genre at the moment and this is one of the best. Red hot stories that are believable and imaginative, the characters are beautiful and are doing things we all do, or would like to do. I also enjoyed the 2007 edition, thats well worth a look. And my own personal favourite, the classic '100 Percent Erotica' by Suzie Van Aartman, you'll need to change your underwear after reading that.

This is a very good anthology of erotica. I've always read these compliations by Ms. Blue, but over the years have slacked off. I got back on track with this one and was delighted by the stories within. I also liked "Sex Scenes"--Kim Corum and would recommend it as well.

I couldn't help wondering if the previous two reviewers were talking about the book I had just read. In my opinion it is the most steamy collection of erotica I have ever come across and if it isn't raunchy enough for them, then I would certainly like to know what they have been reading. And as for complaining about not being aware that some of the steamiest sex involves lovers of a more mature age, (actually it is mentioned in the book description)is a comment that really intrigues me. Does the reviewer think that sex stops at thirty? Maybe after that it should be just toad-in-the-hole.

It is a celebration of sexual passion for all adults from twenty somethings, up to any age that the fire still burns. It also pleases me that some of the characters in the book are blessed with less than the perfect shape and are treated as normal human beings (actually some of them are bordering on the super human). Go for it.

I have read a lot of erotica in my time and I have to say that this is the best ever. It has a different feel to it than the other books. Whereas a lot of them seem cold and restrained, this book goes all the way so to speak. But having said that it isnt crude in any way, but it does deliver the passion. Also what is unusual is that the stories are obviously all by the same author, rather than a collection of stories by a number of authors. Inevitably there are certain passages that you think to yourself that you've heard before, but that is only a minor critisism because on the whole the book is excellent. The stories have a cosiness to them and the people come across as real people and this makes it more erotic because it could be you in the story. This is felt more so because they are of different ages and different shapes and the shape of some of them is, shall we say, super-human, but very believable. Not only that, but the writing is such that you feel part of the story, you can feel it and enjoy it. I'd like to go further but I feel I would be censored. So yes this is a very erotic book and it will certainly stir the passion within.

This installment of the Quickies is, by far, the best yet. As the title suggests, the book really does things quickly, but with a kick! I will definitely read more of these as they are published. I also liked, for more of a romantic feel, Breaking the Girl.

This is a very good anthology of erotica. I've always read these compliations by Ms. Blue, but over the years have slacked off. I got back on track with this one and was delighted by the stories within. I also liked "Sex Scenes"--Kim Corum and would recommend it as well.

I couldn't help wondering if the previous two reviewers were talking about the book I had just read. In my opinion it is the most steamy collection of erotica I have ever come across and if it isn't raunchy enough for them, then I would certainly like to know what they have been reading. It is a celebration of sexual passion for all adults from twenty somethings, up to any age that the fire still burns. It also pleases me that some of the characters in the book are blessed with less than the perfect shape and are treated as normal human beings (actually some of them are bordering on the super human). I have read a lot of erotica in my time and I have to say that this is the best ever. It has a different feel to it than the other books. Whereas a lot of them seem cold and restrained, this book goes all the way so to speak. But having said that it isnt crude in any way, but it does deliver the passion. Also what is unusual is that the stories are obviously all by the same author, rather than a collection of stories by a number of authors. Inevitably there are certain passages that you think to yourself that you've heard before, but that is only a minor critisism because on the whole the book is excellent. The stories have a cosiness to them and the people come across as real people and this makes it more erotic because it could be you in the story. This is felt more so because they are of different ages and different shapes and the shape of some of them is, shall we say, super-human, but very believable. Not only that, but the writing is such that you feel part of the story, you can feel it and enjoy it. I'd like to go further but I feel I would be censored. So yes this is a very erotic book and it will certainly stir the passion within.

This book was my first venture into eroctic fiction, and for the price of this book I figured if I didnt like it - nothing was lost. However, I couldnt have been less disappointed! All the stories are based around a different fantasy - so everyone can have a favourite. I have to say mine is Doctors Orders. There were a couple that didnt "get me going" as it were, but thats not to say they wouldnt work for others.

The size of this book is great too - so slim, its very discreet and can easily be slipped into an overnight bag or suitcase - should the mood take you.

I was so impressed with this little gem of a book I have since bought volumes 2 & 3 and look forward to purchasing more. I would and have recommended it to friends.

This is the first time I've read one of the Black Lace Quickies series, but if this one is anything to go by, it won't be the last. The first in the series, this book contains six short stories all by different authors. There's the story of the young woman doing unspeakably naughty things at petrol stations; the seventeen year old boy that gets to live the ultimate teenage fantasy; a doctor/patient scenario; a horny air hostess; a brother/sister combo causing havoc on a passenger liner, and twins that swap places to have the adventure of their lives.

Out of the six stories, I was extremely impressed with five of them. I'm not going to point out which one I wasn't keen on as people's opinions vary, and I wouldn't say I disliked it, exactly, it just didn't get me fired up like the other ones did! There were incredibly kinky elements in here, for example; spanking, sex toys, incest, uniforms and domination... basically several of the main things that people fantasise about! So I think, all in all, this is a top notch book and there's something in here for everyone, providing you do like your stories that bit more kinky, which I do. Too vanilla and I get bored.

When you factor in a cracking price, which as always, is discounted on Amazon, and you've got yourself a winner here! So get this, and have yourself a night in with some sexy stories!

I ordered this because I enjoy romance with a supernatural flavour, and spicy sex scenes don't hurt. I like Nora Roberts, Christine Feehan, Marjorie Liu et al. However this was very disappointing. The plot is so weak I can barely remember it, and basically an excuse for graphic sex scenes. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind explicit sex scenes, but only when the writing is good and they are set in the context of a good story, ideally a thriller. Also the idea of a compulsion to have sex without a choice was vaguely disturbing. And dont get me started on the cheesy language.....I finished this book to give it the benefit of the doubt and started the second one only to stop after a few pages when I realised th plot was basically the same with new names.
If you want titillation and cant get anything better this would do. Otherwise, save your money.

In a word, this book is dreadful! Sorry for all those who have said they enjoyed it but this book didn't even get me luke warm let alone hot. I kept waiting for each story to start then it ended. Yes, short 5 minute reads but nothing of any substance in them to read. Save your money.

A very enjoyable book with bite size stories that don't waffle about with excess padding. The storyline is established and cuts to the action very quickly. It is a collection of erotic stories by different writers so each has a different style and feel about it. That is not a bad thing and on the whole most of the stories are excellent. The odd one, perhaps leaves you feeling a bit short, you feel they could have taken the bit in their teeth (or something else) and taken the story on a bit further, but on the whole it is very good. I found that it was a good book to open for a few minutes read to perk you up for the day. I particularly liked THE BOUNTY OF SUMMER by Carol Queen, that was very erotic story. I would highly recommend the book. Another book I would recommend that you have a look at, which has perhaps a stronger sexual content, is 100 PERCENT EROTICA by Suzie Van Aartman. This book could well become a classic in my opinion.

I liked these erotic stories very much. There was something for everyone in this book (there are 35 different and unique stories). The stories are very short but they are interesting. I felt that they could have gone a little farther than they went, they were a little tame for my tastes, but they were still a lot of fun to read and I would recommend this as a gift for any woman who enjoys reading erotica or romance. And for an even more erotic read I would recommend Nancy Madore's "Bedtime Stories for Women," which re-tells fairy tales in a very erotic and exciting format.

This book was my first venture into eroctic fiction, and for the price of this book I figured if I didnt like it - nothing was lost. However, I couldnt have been less disappointed! All the stories are based around a different fantasy - so everyone can have a favourite. I have to say mine is Doctors Orders. There were a couple that didnt "get me going" as it were, but thats not to say they wouldnt work for others.

The size of this book is great too - so slim, its very discreet and can easily be slipped into an overnight bag or suitcase - should the mood take you.

I was so impressed with this little gem of a book I have since bought volumes 2 & 3 and look forward to purchasing more. I would and have recommended it to friends.

Great little book as are all the Black Lace series and this one doesn't disappoint. The stories are red hot and believable and will certainly get the pulse racing. Also well worth looking at is Quickies Bk. 2. And for the real connoisseur of the erotic, look at Suzie Van Aartman's '100 Percent Erotica' it oozes pure ecstasy.

This is the first time I've read one of the Black Lace Quickies series, but if this one is anything to go by, it won't be the last. The first in the series, this book contains six short stories all by different authors. There's the story of the young woman doing unspeakably naughty things at petrol stations; the seventeen year old boy that gets to live the ultimate teenage fantasy; a doctor/patient scenario; a horny air hostess; a brother/sister combo causing havoc on a passenger liner, and twins that swap places to have the adventure of their lives.

Out of the six stories, I was extremely impressed with five of them. I'm not going to point out which one I wasn't keen on as people's opinions vary, and I wouldn't say I disliked it, exactly, it just didn't get me fired up like the other ones did! There were incredibly kinky elements in here, for example; spanking, sex toys, incest, uniforms and domination... basically several of the main things that people fantasise about! So I think, all in all, this is a top notch book and there's something in here for everyone, providing you do like your stories that bit more kinky, which I do. Too vanilla and I get bored.

When you factor in a cracking price, which as always, is discounted on Amazon, and you've got yourself a winner here! So get this, and have yourself a night in with some sexy stories!

Loved this quickie anthology! It's got everything a girl needs in order to...get fired up! The book itself isn't very long at all, but it's more than you need! Take a chance on it, along with Sex Scenes--Kim Corum, which is also just pure erotica. I recommend both.

There is a lot of good erotica in the short story genre at the moment and this is one of the best. Red hot stories that are believable and imaginative, the characters are beautiful and are doing things we all do, or would like to do. I also enjoyed the 2007 edition, thats well worth a look. And my own personal favourite, the classic '100 Percent Erotica' by Suzie Van Aartman, you'll need to change your underwear after reading that.

This is a very good anthology of erotica. I've always read these compliations by Ms. Blue, but over the years have slacked off. I got back on track with this one and was delighted by the stories within. I also liked "Sex Scenes"--Kim Corum and would recommend it as well.

I couldn't help wondering if the previous two reviewers were talking about the book I had just read. In my opinion it is the most steamy collection of erotica I have ever come across and if it isn't raunchy enough for them, then I would certainly like to know what they have been reading. And as for complaining about not being aware that some of the steamiest sex involves lovers of a more mature age, (actually it is mentioned in the book description)is a comment that really intrigues me. Does the reviewer think that sex stops at thirty? Maybe after that it should be just toad-in-the-hole.

It is a celebration of sexual passion for all adults from twenty somethings, up to any age that the fire still burns. It also pleases me that some of the characters in the book are blessed with less than the perfect shape and are treated as normal human beings (actually some of them are bordering on the super human). Go for it.

I have read a lot of erotica in my time and I have to say that this is the best ever. It has a different feel to it than the other books. Whereas a lot of them seem cold and restrained, this book goes all the way so to speak. But having said that it isnt crude in any way, but it does deliver the passion. Also what is unusual is that the stories are obviously all by the same author, rather than a collection of stories by a number of authors. Inevitably there are certain passages that you think to yourself that you've heard before, but that is only a minor critisism because on the whole the book is excellent. The stories have a cosiness to them and the people come across as real people and this makes it more erotic because it could be you in the story. This is felt more so because they are of different ages and different shapes and the shape of some of them is, shall we say, super-human, but very believable. Not only that, but the writing is such that you feel part of the story, you can feel it and enjoy it. I'd like to go further but I feel I would be censored. So yes this is a very erotic book and it will certainly stir the passion within.

This installment of the Quickies is, by far, the best yet. As the title suggests, the book really does things quickly, but with a kick! I will definitely read more of these as they are published. I also liked, for more of a romantic feel, Breaking the Girl.

i read the later books first and found myself wanting to find out from the beginning what happened. this book was really enjoyable and to see characters from later books filled so much in. i will be ordering all the rest of the books asap. i find the the stories fascinating and keep placing themes with whats happening in society now (sorry if thats boring but humanity is very diverse) also the hot scenes help! i already know the series gets better so roll on more

I ordered this because I enjoy romance with a supernatural flavour, and spicy sex scenes don't hurt. I like Nora Roberts, Christine Feehan, Marjorie Liu et al. However this was very disappointing. The plot is so weak I can barely remember it, and basically an excuse for graphic sex scenes. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind explicit sex scenes, but only when the writing is good and they are set in the context of a good story, ideally a thriller. Also the idea of a compulsion to have sex without a choice was vaguely disturbing. And dont get me started on the cheesy language.....I finished this book to give it the benefit of the doubt and started the second one only to stop after a few pages when I realised th plot was basically the same with new names.
If you want titillation and cant get anything better this would do. Otherwise, save your money.

This was the first Lora Leigh book i read! and what an introduction !! this book is filled with deceit and hate and the cruelty of science at its worst, but most of all an intense sensuality and Love flow through it. I really enjoyed it and went on to read more!!

A very enjoyable book with bite size stories that don't waffle about with excess padding. The storyline is established and cuts to the action very quickly. It is a collection of erotic stories by different writers so each has a different style and feel about it. That is not a bad thing and on the whole most of the stories are excellent. The odd one, perhaps leaves you feeling a bit short, you feel they could have taken the bit in their teeth (or something else) and taken the story on a bit further, but on the whole it is very good. I found that it was a good book to open for a few minutes read to perk you up for the day. I particularly liked THE BOUNTY OF SUMMER by Carol Queen, that was very erotic story. I would highly recommend the book. Another book I would recommend that you have a look at, which has perhaps a stronger sexual content, is 100 PERCENT EROTICA by Suzie Van Aartman. This book could well become a classic in my opinion.

I liked these erotic stories very much. There was something for everyone in this book (there are 35 different and unique stories). The stories are very short but they are interesting. I felt that they could have gone a little farther than they went, they were a little tame for my tastes, but they were still a lot of fun to read and I would recommend this as a gift for any woman who enjoys reading erotica or romance. And for an even more erotic read I would recommend Nancy Madore's "Bedtime Stories for Women," which re-tells fairy tales in a very erotic and exciting format.
