As a student of Jewish art I found this book invaluable both for the high quality of the reproduction, which keeps intact all of the original's fascinating details, and for the useful commentary on the text and illustrations. Reccommended for anyone interested in medieval Hebrew illuminated manuscripts or the Haggadah.

I couldn't read hebrew,but I wanted to join in., 26 Jan 2005
I couldn't read hebrew at all, but I wanted to be able to join in with the rest of my family seder at Pesach.I also couldn't pronounce the words and I found this Haggadah to help me say the words in the same way my nieces can say them and be able to join in with all the songs and not feel left out as has happened in previous years.
