I've enjoyed most of Meryl Sawyer's work, i'm always eager to try her"latest", this being one of them. I enjoyed the story, it's not hard tofollow, got just enough suspense, sex and drama, but it has got a few holeshere and there, not enough to put you off though. I would recommend it.

I bought this book due to all of the reviews about it...and i'm really glad i did. It kept me revited, i smiled, laughed and had tears in my eye's - an emotional rollercoster. The way Logan was portrayed made me want to give him a cuddle! You wont be disapointed if you read this book. This was my first by Sawyer but i wont be the last! Wonderful!, 28 Oct 2000
Arizona journalist Kelly Taylor saw her illusions and her heart shatter when her husband died in a plane crash. Only then she learned that he had a child, abandoned in an orphanage. After the pain and grief, she is left with an overwhelming yearning to rescue the little boy. The only person she can turn to is undercover agent Logan McCord, who had also been kidnapped as a child and is still scarred from the harrowing incident. As a single woman, Kelly knows she doesn't stand a chance of being able to legally adopt her husband's child. Now she desperately prays that Logan's own tragic experience will convince him to not only help her, but also to marry her. Soon Kelly and Logan begin a perilous liaison, joined in a sham marriage that arouses an irresistible desire. And together they confront a maelstrom of secrets and danger, where and innocent child and a cruel killer are eagerly waiting . . . Sawyer characters, especially Kelly and Logan, are very realistic in the reader's mind. They're entwined into a very good story where the killer is waiting for the chance to kill them. Sawyer keeps you guessing thru-out, adding in complications and surprises. Wonderful! If passion, deceit, love and hatred is what you're looking for then look no further! A book that is hard to put down!
OUTSTANDING, 12 Jun 1999
This is the first book I have ever read by Meryl Sawyer. I absolutely loved it. I definitely agree with the other readers, the best book ever. I think Logan and Kelly made a great couple. Many times I read books where one of the main characters is always nasty until the very end and that can be quite exasperating, this was a delightful change. My only regret is that the book ended. If there were more than five stars available to rate, I would rate it higher.
AN EXCITING READ!!, 09 Feb 1999
This book is a fantastic action packed read. It is worth your time and money. You'll love it. Trust me!
Great! I loved it!, 27 Jan 1999
One of the best books I've read so far this year. (I know, it's only the 27th day of January but I've read a lot!) This book had me hooked from page one and I didn't stop until the end. Highly recommended.

MOST EXCELLENT! IT WILL KEEP YOU GUESSING!, 25 Feb 1999
THIS BOOK HAS SO MANY TWISTS AND TURNS! IT WILL KEEP YOU GUESSING THE OUTCOME AFTER EVERY CHAPTER. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. THE LOVELY BACKDROP OF MAUI ADDED TO THE AMBIANCE OF THE STORY. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS AND THE WAY THE LOVE BETWEEN GREG AND LUCKY DEVELOPED. I AM AN ANIMAL LOVER AS WELL WHICH ALSO ADDED A VERY WARM ELEMENT TO THE STORY. KEEP IT UP, MERYL!
Too many unanswered questions, 19 Feb 1999
This book was okay, except there was just too many unanswered questions and an empty storyline. What was with Lucky's behavior right after the accident, what was with the bleached blonde hair, how did Tony Trayler fall into the picture, why did all these men love Lucky if she was such a terrible person? There are more questions, I could go on and on, but I won't. I started this book hoping it would be as good as Tempting Fate (which is a must read, by the way) but was disappointed. I think I will forget this one.
Captivating, 28 Oct 1998
I actually stumbled upon Unforgettable at our local library. I am thankful I did. The story was captivating early on when the hero, Greg Braxton, and his Search and Rescue dog, Dodger, find a bleach blonde barely alive in a wrecked car at the bottom of a ravine during a powerful electrical storm. Why she is wearing mis-matched shoes begins the great mystery. I didn't give Unforgettable 5 stars for three reasons. First, there seemed to be some loose ends. Some of the babbling Lucky says just after Greg rescues her isn't really cleared up at the end. Second, Lucky seems to vascilate between being super strongwilled (when she cares for the shark) and super meek (when she apologizes for hurting people). Too much of a swing for me. And finally, Meryl Sawyer does a wonderful job building up to a climatic finish, but then leads you through the big blowout scene second handed. It would have been nice to live through all the punches with Lucky. All in all it was a pretty entertaining story.
Fabulous story, very innovative, 07 Aug 1998
I bought this book because of the intriguing cover, but as I read the story I became totally captivated. Logan McCord is out training a Search and Rescue dog when he discovers a woman, trapped in a car, near death. He rescues her and she awakens, unable to recall her name. I was expecting another of those amnesia stories. Even so the plot still had me capitivated. I was in for a surprise. This story was more real life than most books. The woman has a head injury and will never remember her name or the past. The mystery unfolds and we discover someone wants her dead, but without a clue to whoshe really is "Lucky" (because she's lucky to be alive) is in trouble. You guessed it! Logan is the man to help her. This book has it all. Romance, sensuality, enough twists and turns to keep you up all night reading.
pretty good, 16 Apr 1998
