Should last a few months!, 28 Feb 2008
Lots of activities in this book, nicely laid out and nice colour and look throughout. there's an 'open in 20 years' section which is a great idea, and plenty of space for photos, thoughts, memories and pink sparkly stuff :)
A fab book!, 22 Sep 2003
My fabulous life in pictures is not just a photo scrap book. The front cover is marbleized which means no two books are exactly alike! There are loads of pages to stick your photographs in and then colour in the frames, there is a family tree with cute squirills in, a page which has little fill in quizes about yourself e.g My personality quiz- messy, Loud, Shy etc. A place where you can mention your best friends, there is a time capsule to put photos and things you want to remember about the present- don't open for 20 years, there are loads of stickers, templates and instructions on how to use them and MUCH, MUCH MORE! All in one book i'ts so cool i'm thinking about getting some other KLUTZ items. I'ts the sort of book that keeps you really occupied. For any Kids age even possibly for an adult! I'ts SO brilliant! By Sheila's Daughter-Maria.

If you are a fan of Steve McQueen I would recommend this book of photographs, many which I have not seen some delightful photo's of Steve with his family - it leaves you with happy memories of a superb actor and his films!

The best London walking book by far!!, 27 Jun 2003
This has got to be the best walking book of London that I have ever used. Being an avid walker I have found this book invaluable! My friends and I have spent many a weekend walking around London, learning about the history of this great city, thanks to this book. It is a great way to spend a day and also very cheap as walking doesn't cost a thing! I recommend that anyone living in London should buy this book; they will get so much pleasure from it! Andrew Duncan does a fantastic job of leading you around some fabulous places in London that you would probably never find on your own. Not only that, but he also brings each place to life with really interesting historical facts which never cease to amaze us! This is by far the best walking book; the maps are easy to follow and the information is fascinating! I only wish that Mr Duncan would write another book soon as we have now done most of these walks!!! Buy it now!!!

Superb photography, 26 Sep 2007
This is a magnificent collection of aerial photographs of British football grounds. The photography is brilliant and the photographs also include the surrounding area which makes them even more interesting. It also includes useful information about each ground, capacity, largest attendance etc. This book will appeal to football fans and also to anyone who appreciates superb aerial photography.
Brent - Brackenhurst, South Africa, 28 Sep 2006
what an amazing book, stunning aerial photos of football grounds and much of the surrounding area, brings back fond memories of the grounds one has visited. excellent quality, simply superb!! best value for money at just over 5 quid, best football book ever bought. highly recommended!!
Its got it all!!, 02 Sep 2006
This book has all the major clubs in supurb large colour photos that are crystal clear. The photos are right up to date with not only the stadium but in some cases much of the city - a nice balance. Ian Hay must have spent hours and hours collecting this supurb collection and for the price it's a steal. THIS HAS GOT TO BE EVERY FOOTBALL FANS DREAM COME TRUE!!!!
What! No Field Mill., 17 Jul 2006
BEWARE!! This book does NOT contain all the Football League grounds as stated. There are only 72 Premiership and Football League grounds included with many League 2 grounds omitted. On the positive side the book contains some excellent photographs, includes 13 Scottish grounds, is hardback and is cheap to buy. If all 92 League grounds were included then this would be an excellent book and would warrant 5 stars, but to exclude stadiums such as Field Mill I can only award 3 stars. If you are only interested in the major British stadiums then you will not be disappointed with this book but if like me you find the lower League Grounds more interesting then the Aerofilms book may a better buy. The photos, though, are bigger and better quality than those used in the Aerofilms books.

Interesting read, 06 Jun 2008
I love old football grounds, for me the worse they are, the better the atmosphere.
This book gave a fantastic insight to how the football grounds of the 92 league teams of the 07/08 season, have changed throughout the years.
The first ground i looked at was my team, Crewe Alexandra, it was great to relive how the main terrace i used to stand on developed into the large stand it is now, and it gave a great recollection of the history of the ground.
It's like that with all the grounds, with a fantastic before and after picture of the ground, it was amazing to see how Stamford Bridge has changed over the years or the diffrence in the grounds of Highfield road and The Ricoh Arena.
A brilliant read for any football fan!

Shockingly Intimate! This work is beautiful, elegant, and very SENSUAL, 14 Dec 2008
This is a gorgeous book of fine art photography that truly showcases the grace and elegance of the naked female form. During the last decade, German photographer Ralf Mohr has produced several classic books of nude photography including, Pregnant Nudes, Family Nudes, and Contemporary Nude Portraits. Naked Dance and Gymnastics is certainly equal to Mohr's previous efforts - with it's large format, flawless production qualities, and magnificent photography - but Mohr ventures into new territory here. This work is extremely sensual!
Mohr's subjects are dancers, gymnasts, and athletes, and they are all spectacular physical specimens. His photographs capture their grace, their rhythm, and their spellbinding elegance. They are completely nude in every shot and perform in Mohr's darkened studio, so as to minimize every possible distraction save for their perfect forms. Mohr masterfully captures their taut bodies, their impossible lines, and their strength in exquisite black & white. It's truly a feast for the eyes. But more intimate shots are included too - where his subjects spread their legs, thrust their hips up, and bend and contort - and we are allowed to witness every tantalizing angle and view their most intimate body parts. Although this in no way detracts for the overall work, it's quite stirring, and will undoubtedly arouse many viewers.
All in all, Naked Dance and Gymnastics is a masterpiece of black & white nude photography. It presents a vision of female strength mixed with grace and beauty and sensuality that is absolutely dazzling.

A Golden Age preserved, 27 Dec 2008
Leroy Grannis was the universally acknowledged God of surfing photography for decades. Still surfing himself well into his 80s, he had a surfers eye for what makes a great picture. A recent exhibition in Camden was a revelation to me and it has been a wonderful experience to revisit many of those fabulous pictures in this large-format book. There is a brief introductory essay by Steve Barilotti, which gives a workmanlike biography (and is repeated in German and French translation). I would have loved a little more about Grannis and his working methods as well as background to the provenance of the individual photos. (Hence four stars).
So... the photos are the main point. If you saw the wonderful film documentary "Riding with Giants" then you will find many familiar faces and images from the first half of that film. It's easy to dismiss these as cliches, without realising that they are only cliches now because Grannis's original photographs were iconic. These wonderful photographs are technically marvellous in themselves but they also open a window into a lost age. (Perhaps it is the feeling of revisiting my own childhood West-country holidays that gives these images such a powerful emotional cast?) This book is a time machine in which Grannis captured an era that has long since disappeared and whose innocence and simple hedonism are long vanished. This book was bought for my son, a keen surfer, and he loves it for the obvious reasons. For us oldies there is a nostalgic overlay to the whole experience but in either case the pictures are just fabulous.

This is a book that provides amazing insight about the slaughter of wild animals in epic proportions and how a once self-sustaining ecologically balanced paradise with an infinite supply of flora and fauna became endangered.
It is an essential read for anyone trying to understand the reasons that created the conflict between man and wild animal and why we must attempt to reverse this horrific tragedy for the sake of our future.
Excellent book, with especially breathtaking photography, 11 Jan 2006
This is an absolutely amazing book, full of beautiful photographs many of them dating back to the early 1900's. It is a very well presented look at the way attitudes have changed in East Africa, from the early hunters and photos of Karen Blixen, her guests and characters familiar from her books, excerpts from Pattersons diaries, and looking at how game control has evolved and the problems now facing the environment and game wardens as human impact interrupts nature's balance. I however, most enjoy this book for it's photos. There are some amazing photos in here, made all the more so when you consider how long ago they were taken and the equipment that the photographers were using. I cannot recommend this book enough.
