This is the best travel journal that I've found. There are sections for noting down places to visit, eat, stay etc and plenty of space to stick in photos, ticket stubs and that kind of thing. Also has some really beautiful photos of places around the world. Makes a really nice gift.

I bought this journal in Virginia on a recent trip.
It's such a great idea and makes one want two start a travel journal/diary.
I did not think I would write one but after seeing the book I started and it gave me ideas especially after a fab week in NYC and I have put in quite a few photos and cards. I would buy one again and will buy one a a present for my friend who is going on a gap year abroad. It makes a wonderful present.

I bought this journal in Virginia on a recent trip.
It's such a great idea and makes one want two start a travel journal/diary.

The Cruise Journal gives you plenty of space to chronicle everything you'd want to remember and more. There are places to note the ship particulars, crew names with remarks, new friends with space for even e-mails, meals, entertainment, ports of call, excursions, gifts, photos and of course pages and pages for other jottings of events. At the back of the book is opportunity to plan future crusies with calendars from 1998-2001. There is a handy check list of supplies, conversion charts including clothing from other countries and maps. This is a very complete journal for that very special trip.

Beautifully designed and illustrated, a joy to see on the coffee table but completely useless. It's based rigidly on four week months and has only 48 weeks in its year. There are fudges to get round this but they all destroy the detailed year on year comparison that is the very essence of a five year diary. Very, very, disappointing from a revered organisation like the RHS.

I bought this book for my son before there were any reviews or even a product desciption of it on Amazon.

It is only designed for one trip and we were looking for something that covered many of our travels, for a child.

It is basically black and white, and the child can start to fill in the details before they go on holiday.

There is a making plans section, a page to fill in about the destination, what kids want to pack, an address page(?), people, food & restaurants, museums & galleries, best/worst day and so on. There is also a small pocket at the back of the book for a small amount of souveniers. There are a few pages left blank for a childs own writing/pictures and so on.

On the whole a nice idea, but I feel a little too rigid for such a small book.
