Want/Need another one for 2009, 13 Oct 2008
I got one on sale last year & was a bit sceptical of the format, but have come to rely on it. With my son now in school and daughter interested in trying dance classes, it's great to keep track of every little thing that my tired brain (also have 4 mo. old) needs to keep track of. The spaces are more horizontal than vertical so have more room to write what's needed. I have a different colored marker for each of us & used the extra column for general info. or festivals or other activities we might want to do. Athough I would be picky about having a tradition format calendar that starts on Sunday, and never got the hang of those kind that have the days on the left, this one is easy to adapt to, and helps show the children how far away something is since it's linear. Weekends are highlighted & cartoons cute & cheery.

Mum's family calendar by Sandra Boynton is the best calendar i've ever had, the layout is just perfect its clearly set out and easy to read the best thing about it is its devided into five separate sections so everyone gets their own personal colum, also as well as being a calendar it has lots of other great features which makes it a great buy!

This is a sublime diary, it has a soft outer cover very much like leather and beautiful to the touch. It is a little smaller than it looks on the screen but it is the most practical diary you can buy. It has all sorts of content including distances to other worldwide cities, tempretures, weight and length measurements, time zones etc although this may not be that useful its a nice touch. There is ample space to write notes for each day plus a lined page to make additional notes. Come to think of it the size is actually perfect it is after all a pocket diary i like the pocket inside the back cover...the only problem now is i think twice before commiting anything to ink on the nice off white pages and i need the writing to be perfect ... thats a weird feeling if your not a perfectionist. This is the diary for those who like things perfect and because of that it encourages a little more organisation in your life. Highly recommended for those who expect that little extra. I just wish i had bought this in July 08

Simply stunning calendar from the Girls, even better than last year!, 04 Sep 2008
Barcode: 9781847702098
So, another year, another Girls Aloud calender. Last year's was really great and I loved the whole colourful oversized sweets theme, but with this year's calendar our 5 fave pop princesses really have excelled themselves.
This time round it's got a more mature feel to it, the Girls really glamming themselves up in some stunning outfits. This year's theme is a dingy old warehouse, all peeling walls and bits of old scrap metal. It gives the whole calendar a darker, more sultry theme and the end product looks amazing. As always with Danilo calendars, it's extremely well produced, the photography is top class and the paper durable and glossy.
I'm sure most fans will snap this up right away, Girls Aloud have been my fave band for years now and with a new single and album coming soon, this calendar is perfect to tide us over till then. Great price too!
Cover: Whole band (All the Girls around an old black Mercedes - I love how Nadine is doing her lippy in this pic)
January: Cheryl (You're in for a treat with this one. Cheryl lounging on some silk sheets. Simply spellbinding, Cheryl is gorgeous.
February: Nadine (Nadine waiting for one of those old fashioned gated hotel lifts in a pink silk nightgown)
March: Whole band (Really classy one, they're all in flowing pastel coloured dresses)
April: Sarah
May: Nicola
June: Kimberley
July: Nadine
August: Sarah (Sarah working the rock-chick look in a really Americana styled pic)
September: Cheryl (This is my fave out of this year's calendar. Cheryl in black PVC trousers - just wow! Effortlessly beautiful.)
Ocotber: Nicola
November: Kimberley (Absolutely love her dress in this pic, it's got a rainbow sparkly fish-scale sequin effect going on and it looks fab)
December: Whole band (The 5 Girls in their spangly gold outfits from the Tangled Up Tour)

multi-purpose calender, 06 Sep 2008
not only will this help you to grow healthier, tastier and stonger fruit, veg and house plants, but once you get the hang of it you can generally predict the weather better than the BBC. Its been spot on for my last 2 holidays in Cornwall and it gets Glastonbury festival right every year.

The world's worst artist., 04 Nov 2007
Jack Vettriano is without doubt the world's worst artist, a man who taste forgot. All of his paintings are terrible beyond belief, basically the bloke doesn't have a clue. If you want to see paintings, which have depth, and are sublime, by artists who know how to paint people - instead of making them look like mannequins - then look at the work of Goya, Soutine &c. - and use any publications featuring the work of Vettriano as firewood. Good for your heating bill & for yourself. You'll feel better for it.
diary, 16 Dec 2006
i got the jack vettriano diary for my mum last year as she loves his pictures and has them everywhere and she loved it so i got the 2007 one and was happy as the quality of the pictures and the fact its a spiral bound diary with a week to view makes it easy to use and space for you to put a bit in each day and when its finished rather than throw it away you can frame the pictures as there are plenty to appeal to all
Jack Vettriano Wall Calendar, 04 Jan 2005
If you like Vettriano's pictures, you will love this calendar. All his well-known work is in this calendar so turning over to a new month will be marvelous especially if you are like me and look at the calendar when I get it, then I get a surprise when I turn over every month. Well worth the money.
Beautiful, 03 Dec 2004
Jack Vittriano's pictures have a simplicity to them, yet a great beauty and depth. I'd be thrilled to have this on my wall for a year!
